Punjab Kings has launched a new loyalty rewards program for their fans, allowing supporters to redeem points for exclusive prizes through the team’s official mobile application. The IPL franchise announced the initiative through their Instagram account, highlighting that “Loyalty = Rewards” for their dedicated fanbase.

According to the post, the redemption window is now active, allowing fans to convert their accumulated points into various prizes. “Your points, your prizes. The redemption window is now live on the PBKS app. Don’t miss out!” reads the caption, directing followers to access the program through a link in their bio.

While specific details about the types of rewards available weren’t disclosed in the post, loyalty programs typically offer team merchandise, discounted tickets, or exclusive experiences. The timing of this launch comes as the franchise prepares for the upcoming IPL 2025 season.

The rewards program appears to be part of Punjab Kings’ broader strategy to strengthen fan engagement as they gear up for IPL 2025. The franchise has been actively building excitement through their social media platforms with regular updates about team activities and player preparations.

Punjab Kings, formerly known as Kings XI Punjab until 2021, has been part of the Indian Premier League since its inception in 2008. Based in Mohali, Punjab, the franchise is owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, and Karan Paul.

Despite being one of the original eight IPL teams, Punjab Kings has yet to claim an IPL title. Their best performance came in 2014 when they reached the finals but lost to Kolkata Knight Riders. The team has undergone several transformations over the years, including the name change from Kings XI Punjab to Punjab Kings ahead of the 2021 season.

For IPL 2025, the franchise has adopted the slogan “Bas, Jeetna Hai!” (Just need to win!), indicating their determination to improve upon past performances. Their recent social media post captioned “Iss season ka ek hi maqsad → Bas, Jeetna Hai!” (This season has only one purpose → Just win!) reinforces this competitive mindset.

The Punjab Kings have developed a dedicated fanbase known as the “Sher Squad” (Lion Squad). The team has been actively engaging this community through creative content, including a recent post featuring their IPL 2025 fixtures presented in the style of the popular Indian film “Gangs of Wasseypur.”

The new loyalty rewards program represents another step in strengthening this relationship between the franchise and its supporters, offering tangible benefits for fan dedication as IPL 2025 approaches.

Fans interested in participating in the rewards program can download the Punjab Kings official app and follow the instructions provided through the link in the team’s Instagram bio.
