Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has demonstrated his explosive batting skills during a HBL PSL X match in Multan, as showcased in a recent social media post by Islamabad United.

The franchise shared a video clip on Instagram featuring Nawaz sending a cricket ball soaring through the Multan sky. The post was aptly captioned “💣 @m_nawazkhan sending a ball on a tour of Multan,” highlighting the impressive power with which Nawaz struck the ball.

In the video footage, Nawaz can be seen connecting perfectly with the delivery, launching it high and far into the stands. The shot exemplifies the all-rounder’s ability to clear boundaries with ease, a valuable skill in the T20 format.

Nawaz’s Journey With Islamabad United

The left-arm spinning all-rounder joined Islamabad United ahead of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). His addition to the squad was announced earlier this year, with the franchise welcoming him warmly to their setup.

“A warm welcome to the #IUFamily! @m_nawazkhan shares his excitement for this new journey with Islamabad United. Let’s make it a season to remember!” the team had posted when announcing his signing.

Since joining the three-time champions, Nawaz has been actively involved in team activities. In March, he participated in scenario-based match practice alongside teammate Azam Khan, showcasing the team’s preparation for competitive matches.

Beyond his playing abilities, Nawaz has shown his commitment to community engagement. Earlier this year, he participated in the HBL PSL X Trophy Luminara tour, visiting Pakistan Sweet Home in Islamabad alongside teammate Shadab Khan (known as Red Hot Sheru). The event allowed the players to spend time with young fans, creating what the team described as “moments that warm the heart.”
