The 39-year-old enjoyed an illustrious career representing Pakistan in 97 Test matches, 53 One Day Internationals, and one T20 International. During his career, he amassed 7,142 runs in Test cricket at an average of 42.26, including 19 centuries and 35 half-centuries.
One of the highlights of Azhar’s career came in 2017 when he was part of the Pakistan team that won the ICC Champions Trophy.
